Hi there, can you share with me the ID of the request you made to report meter event?

terse fractal
#

Sure sending

terse fractal
#

here is the request id

candid walrus
#

The meter event reporting was successful. You might want to advance the test clock to see the next invoice

terse fractal
#

Tried that as well does not work let me show you

#

also the events summary api does not show it

#

it created an invoice of 0$

candid walrus
#

Can you finalize the invoice and see what's the final amount?

terse fractal
#

sorry not sure how I can do that?

candid walrus
#

Advance the test clock

terse fractal
#

already advanced

#

to 6 feb

terse fractal
candid walrus
#

Advance to 7 Feb, it should be automatically finalized by then.

terse fractal
#

but still it charged 0$

candid walrus
#

Ok, let me take a look. What's the subscription ID?

terse fractal
#

sub_1Qe9D2SB1sShkzNt6HUW49GW

candid walrus
#

This subscription belongs to a different customer, not the customer associated with the meter event reporting request

terse fractal
#

thats weird let me check

#

let me recreate the scenario

terse fractal
#

Hey @candid walrus I tried this again. And i am getting the same results still this time I have used correct customer id

#

Customer Id - cus_RXFAlrhh0arVw9
Subscription Id - sub_1QeAi1SB1sShkzNtG1LagCNG
Invoice Id - in_1QeB9PSB1sShkzNtVZu5dYku
Request Id - req_Xv3QKXsoO9GyVZ

candid walrus

What's the ID of the request that you made to report the meter event?

terse fractal
terse fractal
#

also btw i understand this request was successfull but if it was should have shown in dashboard too

candid walrus
#

You didn't sepcify a timestamp in the request, so that the event timestamp is the request time (2025-01-06 07:53:02), which is 1 month before the test clock's current time.

Can you sepcify a timestamp when reporting a meter event? the timestamp needs to be within the past 35 calendar days or up to 5 minutes in the future from the current time of customer's test clock

terse fractal
terse fractal
#

but I reported event on start of subscription

#

so taking date now it should have done that right?

terse fractal
#

I tried the button add usage too to manually add it

candid walrus
#

Can you try again without test clock at all? Just report some meter event for a customer that is not attached to a test clock.

terse fractal
#

ok let me do this

#

btw I tried without that only earlier

#

but let me try again

#

still didnt work

Hmm, I can't figure out why the event usage isn't reflected in your account. Can I suggest you to write in and we'll continue helping you through emails?
