๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

๐Ÿ”— This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1318971793687711836

Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. Hello
When you're confirming payment client-side, you would typically see a modal to authorize or fail a payment.
Are you not seeing that?

#

we do see it

#

and we click on authorize

#

ah you mean that I need to click on fail and the failure will be specifically the error related to the test email?

No, the emails only work if you're doing server-side confirmation. The specific scenarios mentioned with email patterns won't work with client-side confirmation.

In live mode, If the customer's paypal account is restricted then the paypal won't let them confirm the PaymentIntent in the first place.

#

(that's my understanding^^ I'm not sure 100% what the expected behavior is)

fringe plaza
#

ah okay, I understand.
We also do confirmation server-side in some use cases, so I'm going to try that.
