Hi there ๐ metered Prices do bill at the end of the month for the usage for previous billing period (bill in arrears).
I don't recall offhand if it's expected for those to still generate a $0 Invoice up front. Can you share the ID of a Subscription from your testing where you saw this behavior, so I can take a closer look at whether that Subscription was pulling in anything else?

Thank you! I do see the single Price included on that first Invoice matches the ID of the metered Price you're using.
I believe this expected behavior, where the Subscription generates a $0 Invoice for the first Invoice, but am trying to double check that.
The recurring Invoices should take the usage into account and bill for the usage from the previous billing period though.
Yup, I'm also seeing a $0 Invoice when first creating a metered Subscription in my test account.
