This is the error the user sent to me
I don't understand what is causing OAuth to give this error. It looks to me as if they don't have access/permission levels to connect to apps or something?
Hi there π
Hm, I'm not sure offhand what could be going on there.
Do you know if your user is able to install other Stripe Apps? Or if this error is isolated to when they try to install yours?
Hm, maybe this is something about our app install process not playing nice with a sandbox account π€
it should work well with a sandbox account, users can install both, sandbox and live
they are using https://marketplace.stripe.com/apps/stunning as well as ChartMogul
No it shouldn't, I just confirmed it's a known limitation that Sandboxes can't install Stripe Apps:
https://docs.stripe.com/sandboxes#:~:text=You canβt install Stripe Apps in a sandbox
It's also worth noting that Sandboxes are a different concept than testmode.
oh they are?
But I don't know for sure they're using a Sandbox here.
It's just a context where I've seen that workspace verbiage before. (if I'm not mistaken π )
I will ask them right now
thanks! I'll keep you posted if that's it. The user is usually quick to reply
Sounds good!
Made some progress
It wasn't a sandbox account
but it seems like what helped was not just having Potio in test mode, but also logging into Stripe and swithcing it to test mode before starting the connection
he didn't get it 100% working yet, will contact an admin, but he got past that error screen
Sounds like a step in the right direction!
Okay! I think it will take some time now, so this issue should be considered solved, thanks!!
