Phase 0 is always the current phase.
You can't modify the current phase start date in a schedule
i thought so but if i dont supply a start date it says at least one start date must be set, and if i check the docs it says the first phase must have it set
If you're trying to backdate a subscription when creating a schedule - you should set start_date outside the phases like https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/subscription-schedules/use-cases#backdating-subscription

Yeah I'm trying to read that but getting lost in the context. Can you give me a 2 sentence summary while I try to grasp the core question?
To be clear, I thought you were trying to backdate a new subscripition but that doesn't seem to be the case
i cant really summarise this in 2 setenances as it was a 2.5 hour conversation and theres quite a lot to it.
The last few exchanges should give you an idea of where it was left and this thread the issue. I am beginingin to think this is actually impossible which is a huge project blocker for us
Yeah sorry I'm trying really hard to grasp the context from previous convo but I'm unable to do so since the server is running a bit busy. As you mentioned its a multi hour convo so I don't want to misunderstand and guide you down the wrong path.

Honestly ive been back and forth here, with the accelerate team and our AM. I dont really want an email chain on this as we have a lot of money nbehind this project and i really do need to et some answers
