No, this information is not available through the API currently.
As for Connect reporting, that isn't something we are very familiar with on this server. But you could take a look at the Connect report types we have available here:

Is there any kind of workaround to get the MRR data? This seems like it would be a very common problem. How do other people typically export MRR data into their CRM / other places?

That isn't something we focus on here so unfortunately I cannot offer any guidance.
