Hi, did you save a valid card to your browser's wallet? I can confirm that I see ApplePay the link you shared above.
You need to add a valid card to your wallet on your Safari's wallet.
I do have valid cards
I am from india, And my customer is located in japan, he is not able to complete the payment but he is able to see the button same as you.
Ah, that is why and we document it here: https://docs.stripe.com/apple-pay
Customer locations: Worldwide except India
You customer is Japan should be able to see it
can you share an work around for me to test it from india?
What is happening after the click the button?
There is not a work around, it's just ApplePay's supportability
when button is clicked nothing happened.
not able to do any debug because the customer was using in mobile.
can you please check if your able to complete a payment, i am using sandbox credentials
For debugging you can search for file stripe.ts under apple_pay_handler
I won't be able to as my personal information is tied to my card on that wallet
previously when i was checking some other error, the stripe support helped me to debug issue by try to complete a payment.
He also said when using sanbox account we can use real card also, it won't deduct any amount since it is sanbox account.
since i am from india, not able to resolve this issue. would really appreciate if someone try to debug by validating the payment.
when tried in an old iphone they faced this issue
later i found out that we should have iphone 8 or more to use apple pay
when they again tried to use apple pay via lamba testing iphone there was no pop-up or no error
hey, are you able to see the pop-up and finger print option? you don’t have to complete the payment but can you verify that the pop up is coming and it is asking for fingerprint?
Ok, that test site's domain is not registered so that Pay button is not even clickable.
Can you register the domain/ host the file and let me know so I can attempt this?
it is registered under payment method in domains.
https://app-tst.nooie.cn/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association
association file is hosted here.
I see this error: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs/req_wTm6B2EENw74kX
it is asking to login, i don’t have my customer account
could you please provide the error in text or screen shot
We attempted to retrieve the file at https://app-tst.nooie.cn/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association, but received a 404 status code from your server. Please check that the file is hosted correctly. Note that our servers most likely send different HTTP headers than your browser; you should check your logs to see why the request failed. For more information, see https://stripe.com/docs/payments/payment-methods/pmd-registration.
You need to ensure that there is no emty value at the end etc
After you correct this, you can attempt to register it again
i have question this domain validation will be used when the session is created, so the pop-up should come right?
are you able to see the pop-up?
can you share that screen shot?
no, it should not
what is the error your getting when you click the apple pay button?
It is not clickable. You could use a VPN service to change your location. However, you still need to register the domain etc before you can test this fully
