Hi, there is not an automatic way to do this, https://docs.stripe.com/api/setup_intents/create#create_setup_intent-payment_method_options-card. However, you can pass the metadata to the setup intent, and then obtain the card object to update the metadata on a separate call, https://docs.stripe.com/api/issuing/cards/update

yeah, that is what i was trying to not do

so i have no option than once i get the setup_intent.succeeded event use the payment_method id to fetch the card and store the data o my local db
