hi! have you reached out to our support team at https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true about this? I can try to help if you have a coding question about this. Not sure I really understand, the expected behaviour is indeed that we charge customers for active subscriptions.
I have tried to contact them but that led me to here... sorry, maybe Im not being clear...
The contact stripe only allows email, that link then takes you back to the support page to then go round the loop again but not allow email
The subscriptions I dont want to have recurring payments, I want the subscription to start, then end... no auto recurring payment
so.. not a subscription?

Yes.... not a subscription... Im guessing thats controlled by Memberpress
