I know we have two workarounds to get this fixed:

  1. Ask Stripe support to manually make the subscription active
  2. Create yet another invoice and void it

But wondering if there is a better way to deal with this or if it's a bug on Stripe's side (that paying an invoice won't update the subscription status as active unless it's the latest invoice)
