Unfortunately this isn't where we can offer support for something so specific to the architecture of the iOS SDK (we're mostly focused on building integrations with our SDKs).
For information on this specific issue, I think the best approach is the msot direct one. I recommend you create an Issue on the Github repository for stripe-ios to flag this concern.
