hi! there isn't unfortunately no, beyond trial_will_end as you saw. Not sure I can really offer an alternative beyond tracking it on your side with a cron/scheduled task etc
Is there a way to query for all the users that are trialing and whose trials end say within 1 day?
and then do you have any advice on what to do if we find the user does not have sufficient balance?
hmm I can't think of a way, you can just list with https://docs.stripe.com/api/subscriptions/list and check when trial_end will be
and then do you have any advice on what to do if we find the user does not have sufficient balance?
I guess cancel the subscription so the trial doesn't end and the invoice is not created , if what you're trying to do is avoid that payment processing? and/or contact the customer
well we were thinking shift the user to a cheaper subscription or maybe a monthly one instead of an annual one? Or try bill them a bit later like on payday? Are these things that the apis would support?
sure, all of that is possible
