hi! sure. For example when you have the client_secret from that PaymentIntent you can use https://docs.stripe.com/js/payment_intents/confirm_card_payment#stripe_confirm_card_payment-existing on the frontend to process a payment with a known existing card.
so my app let's you make both one time payments & get a subscription. In my webhooks route, for the one time payments I have some logic that is happening after the payment was succesful ( when the event type is invoice.payment_succeeded).
I want to do something similar for the subscriptions aswell I was thinking of using the same event type and just check if(invoice.subscription) {
executeLogicAfterSuccessfullyPurchasingSubscription()
return;
}
executeLogicForOneTimePayments().
Is there a better approach ?
that makes sense to me, as a way to differentiate one-time and recurring invoices.
