Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ there are very limited options for changing the billing cycle anchor on an existing Subscription. You can add a trial period as you mentioned. The only other option it to update the billing_cycle_anchor to now, which forces the Subscription to move to the next billing period and generate the next Invoice:
https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/billing-cycle#changing
You could schedule that with a Subscription Schedule, but I don't think that's what you're describing and would recommend continuing to use the trial approach.

Ok what if using the now but can I tell stripe to not create the immediate invoice?
Like I would want it to create the invoice on the next billing cycle from now

No, that isn't possible.

one more question. Is there a webhook that is triggered before the invoice is created? or when the payment is about to be charged? So that I can have some sort of middleware that would be checking if everything is correct
