Hello! Not sure what you mean by "monthly API calls", can you provide more details about that?
What we pay Stripe depends on the # of API calls - is a call to this account settings API count toward our number of billable API calls for the month?

That said, I didn't think we charged based on API call.
I thought we charged based on the number of tax calculations.
Does that API seem like a good authenticated way of testing that not only is Stripe's tax service up, but our credentials are working?
But support will know for sure about the pricing.
I would suggest you retrieve an object from your account to check to make sure the API is online and your credentials are good.
