Hi, there is not a way unless you explicitly state that you do not want the proration to happen: https://docs.stripe.com/api/subscriptions/update#update_subscription-proration_behavior
The reason being, they could still pay at any time.

Ok, if I set the proration_behavior to none, do you know what happens to the existing retrying invoice? Is it automatically closed by Stripe, or would I need to close that manually?
