Yes. Which is a little weird since its yearly.
That specifically shouldn't be a problem.
I don't think there's a built-in way to do this.
You could probably create a one-time off-session charge with the discount amount, and then apply a one-time 100% coupon to the Subscription which will be active in the next period.
Alternatively, you can avoid charging the customer immediately, and instead just let them "Claim" the discount, and just apply it to the Subscription, e.g. one-time 20% coupon.
Ah so possible but probably a good bit of custom code. We're trying to avoid letting people continually renew our black friday price but we feel a little bad for people who have subbed in the last few days.
I understand. I think "claiming" a discount would be the easiest solution.
Yeah I think we are going to skip this one and just offer refunds on a case by case basis.
