๐ happy to help
Hello
if you want to use the PM entered in a Checkout Session you need to add setup_future_usage and pass a customer ID
If i add setup_future_usage then Apple Pay element not mount.
yes this is expected for now, but this limitation will soon disappear
In my case i want to show Apple Pay element and set default PM if customer choose another payment and make payment.
How can i do guide me?
for now using Checkout Sessions it's not possible
if you're using mode payment or mode setup
if you're using mode subscription then it will work
in a few weeks using Apple pay with mode payment + setup_future_usage or with mode setup will function normally
so please keep an eye on this feature coming out in the upcoming weeks
I don't have a clear timeline but it should be soon
