It seems like for some reason the PaymentIntent attached to this Invoice was cancelled. Trying to userstand why.

This Payment Intent was canceled because it had too many confirmation failures. You'll need to void and recreate this Invoice.
Huh, I didn't realize this was a thing, is there a specific # of failures that triggers this, and is that behaviour documented anywhere so I can link it to my team?
I don't believe we document it publicly. It's mentioned in our documentation here: https://docs.stripe.com/api/payment_intents/confirm
There is a variable upper limit on how many times a PaymentIntent can be confirmed. After this limit is reached, any further calls to this endpoint will transition the PaymentIntent to the
canceledstate.
