https://docs.stripe.com/payments/external-payment-methods?platform=web#available-external-payment-methods Hi there, I don't see Paypal in the list of external payment methods.
However, you mentioned that you are using BACS payment method, which is a payment method only available in UK. Is your Stripe account based in UK?
No, but it's a connect platform and our connected accounts using BACS are in the UK
Is there anyway of setting a custom external payment method?
https://docs.stripe.com/payments/paypal#connect Paypal only support destination charges, meaning the platform needs to be in a country where Paypal is supported.
I don't see an option to set custom external payment method in any public doc, can I suggest you to reach out to support and see if they have a better solution?
Please click this link to open a support case with our Developer Support team, in order to help you more effectively.
Here's what to expect:
- ๐งโ๐ป You may need to log in to your Stripe account first.
- โ๏ธ You'll be asked to confirm that you want to create a support case.
- ๐ Your case will be routed to our Developer Support team and they will have a link to this Discord thread to preserve context on your question.
- ๐ฉ The team will review your question and reply to your support case as soon as possible.
Why can't you answer right now?
- โฑ๏ธ Sometimes answering technical/developer focused questions can take some time to reproduce problems or dig into edge cases or your specific account setup to get you the best possible answer, and it's not always possible to do this live in Discord.
