So yes by default resetting the billing cycle will trigger a charge immediately, since it's the time for a new billing cycle.

If you want to adjust, you can just give them a discount, or add a negative invoice item to the generated Invoice

For example, Jan 1 order is placed. Jan 3 Delivered. So we need to move the anchor date to Feb 3 without charging the customer

Can you explain on adding negative invoice item.
