👋 Welcome to your new thread!

⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

🔗 This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1306069509110632489

Collecting the SSN and birth date are part of required onboarding currently_due requirements. If the customers abandon, your system can always redirect them back to the onboarding page again to complete the remaining process

Prior to implementing hosted onboarding, when we were creating connected accounts manually in the dashboard, they were getting to an enabled state without necessarily having all of that information. Is there a different onboarding solution that isn't so manual as doing it in the dashboard ourselves that could replicate that behavior?

#

We do have a feature built out to re-create the link and send them back to fill in the remaining details, but we would like them to begin using the application, even at a low volume, so that it becomes more "sticky" in terms of encouraging them to finish the process. We are seeing a pretty high rate of abandonment at onboarding due to the high upfront requirements

Creating connected account through Dashboard is only for testing purpose as a quick start. For live mode, completing the currently_due requirements is always necessary to get charges and payouts features enabled

#

I'm afraid there is no workaround to this

Okay, thank you for your help tonight. I think we were confused because we thought we found reference in the guides to only needing the last 4 of the SSN rather than the full SSN number to begin transacting, but it appears thats not the case and we always need the full number?
