๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

๐Ÿ”— This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1305917349928505425

Thanks -- and what descriptor did you expect to find there? Do you have an example payment showing the expected version?

umbral escarp
#

Yeah, sure. I can pull that. Can you give me a few minutes?

You'll see the Statement Descriptor on this one is "HOME TECH SOLUTIONS"

#

Got it, thanks for that

#

So this is a known issue we're tracking and working on. Currently, the customer should see the expected statement descriptor for their payment, the issue is limited to bubbling that back up to be visible to you in that API field

#

Do you want to write in to support so that we can associate your account with this issue for future updates?

umbral escarp
#

Sure thing. I'll file a support ticket. Thanks for your help!

  • ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป You may need to log in to your Stripe account first.
  • โ˜‘๏ธ You'll be asked to confirm that you want to create a support case.

Why can't you answer right now?

  • โฑ๏ธ Sometimes answering technical/developer focused questions can take some time to reproduce problems or dig into edge cases or your specific account setup to get you the best possible answer, and it's not always possible to do this live in Discord.
