๐ Welcome to your new thread!
โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.
โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.
๐ This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1305917349928505425

Here's a screenshot from Postman of one of the problematic charges
Hey ther,e can you share the payment intent ID from this example?
Thanks -- and what descriptor did you expect to find there? Do you have an example payment showing the expected version?
Yeah, sure. I can pull that. Can you give me a few minutes?

You'll see the Statement Descriptor on this one is "HOME TECH SOLUTIONS"
Got it, thanks for that
So this is a known issue we're tracking and working on. Currently, the customer should see the expected statement descriptor for their payment, the issue is limited to bubbling that back up to be visible to you in that API field
Do you want to write in to support so that we can associate your account with this issue for future updates?
Sure thing. I'll file a support ticket. Thanks for your help!

Please click this link to open a support case with our Developer Support team, in order to help you more effectively.
Here's what to expect:
- ๐งโ๐ป You may need to log in to your Stripe account first.
- โ๏ธ You'll be asked to confirm that you want to create a support case.
- ๐ Your case will be routed to our Developer Support team and they will have a link to this Discord thread to preserve context on your question.
- ๐ฉ The team will review your question and reply to your support case as soon as possible.
Why can't you answer right now?
- โฑ๏ธ Sometimes answering technical/developer focused questions can take some time to reproduce problems or dig into edge cases or your specific account setup to get you the best possible answer, and it's not always possible to do this live in Discord.
Got your case -- thanks!
Super cool workflow you guys have setup where the link above auto-links to the Discord thread. I like that a lot
