So, we need to upgrade a subscription

but we cant use the regular upgrade flow, because we need subscriptions to charge on specific dates

So I'm trying to find the best way to do it, at first, creating and charging an invoice looks like the best option

but I'm having a hard time finding the right way to recover from failed invoices
