Also it looks like Subscription Schedules were added in version 4.9.0 so your ruby gem should support schedules if you are using our official gem https://github.com/stripe/stripe-ruby/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#490---2019-02-12
We offer three pricing plans: monthly, 6-month, and annual. Currently, we use a variety of coupons and promotions, including one-time dollar discounts, recurring dollar discounts, lifetime dollar discounts, as well as similar one-time, recurring, and lifetime percentage-based discounts.
With this setup, managing all the possible scenarios—especially when a customer has existing coupons in their subscription—has become complex.
Could you advise on best practices for handling this scenario, particularly for users switching between pricing plans with active discounts or coupons?
