@safe hemlock Are you a developer writing your own integration?

safe hemlock

do you mean am I trying to write code?

yes

Bascially, I have no experience with this system. But am trying to gather BIN numbers or identify who is a Citi card holder from our current sales taking place. I have been given access to API but have ZERO idea how to move forward

#

I was curious if maybe you could help me? Or could you pull the report I am looking for?

#

This was what customer service told me....

#

iin: This is the card's BIN or the first 6 digits of the card number.
description: This is a more comprehensive description of the card, if available, based on the BIN. Example values include "Visa Classic" or "Debit MasterCard" (not an exhaustive list).
issuer: This is the name of the issuing bank.
To access these properties, you can list all charges via the API using this documentation: List All Charges. Then, expand the payment_method_details.card to get the full card object using this documentation: Charge Object Payment Method Details.

#

And I dont know what to do next. Appreciate your help

Gotcha. I'm sorry but this Discord server is aimed at developers writing their own code end to end using the API.
You are trying to do a report in the Dashboard I assume and you need to go back to our support team for 1:1 support: https://support.stripe.com/contact

#

yes....i think i need to write my own code to identify bin numbers

#

so i can run the report in API

#

but I don't know how to write code

#

so can you help me write the code so i can run the report?

azure notch
#

No I can not do that I'm sorry. I can't teach you how to code. You would need to either talk to people inside your own company who can code to build this for you, or you want to export this information from the Dashboard which our support team can help you with

Please go back to our support team, follow up on the email thread you got and ask them for further help and explain you don't want to use the API and need help with a Dashboard report/export
