Hi, you could use the subscription schedules, https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/subscription-schedules/use-cases#upgrade-downgrade-coupons. You can create a subscription schedules from the existing subscription, https://docs.stripe.com/api/subscription_schedules/create#create_subscription_schedule-from_subscription and pass the discount for one phase. The first document shows you can achieve passing a discount on one phase only.
