I know we could wrap in a try/catch and create the subscription without a coupon code, but my concern would be that we could encounter another error and not properly distinguish it.
@violet condor You can try the Retrieve Upcoming Invoice API https://docs.stripe.com/api/invoices/upcoming and see if that errors?

I'm fairly certain it doesn't error because we use it to calculate the taxes for a given zipcode
Actually maybe it would error because we don't include the customer id when we're checking the tax calc. I'll test with that and open a new thread if it doesn't error once the customer id is in place
