Hello there
Hi
Can you clarify exactly what you mean here?
We are using stripes identity api to verify customers for our clients, however we would like to be able to collect the license scans and face scans into our database
Ah
As of right now we have our own separate form where they upload the license and a photo of their face and then page 2 on the form is where we use your API
Yeah you won't receive the scan from the Identity API
Let me think if there is any workaround....
Well let's pause for a second
What do you actually need the ID scan for?
Like what data do you actually care about here? Or are you using this scan in some other manner as well and you need the scan itself?
Overall what you want here won't really work -- the idea is that the Identity API allows you to not handle any sensitive data involved in the scan itself.
I don't think there is really going to be any workaround here... if you want this data you do need to collect it yourself
You can access a lot of the details from the Verification Session (https://docs.corp.stripe.com/identity/access-verification-results) but you won't be able to access the scan itself.
Gotcha
Works
Alright, so I’ll send that link over to my developers
If they run into issues, can I message you here ?
Yep for sure
We are here 24/5
This thread will close but you can always start a new one
Will I speak to someone else when the thread closes ?
