Hello! I'm not sure I fully understand your question. What specifically are you asking about? Or can you explain what specifically is blocking you from moving forward?
Is there a charge associated with creating any charge on the platform account that is on behalf of a connect account?
We can't help with fee questions here, we're only focused on developer questions about building Stripe integrations. For fee questions you should reach out to Stripe support: https://support.stripe.com/contact/email
You are asking about a fee Stripe charges, right?
Or have I misunderstood?
I appreciate this is quite confusing sorry, the business is holding back 4% of the money we are taking by utilising the application_fee_amount property. If i've understood the Docs correctly this property is typically used when you're acting as a bridge between the customer and another merchant and you are taking a cut. As all the connect accounts are within the same business we do not fall into this model
However in asking people within the business why this was done I was told that we keep this back because we get charged fees for making these transfers to our connect accounts
Okay, and your question is if Stripe charges such a fee, correct? Or do you have a different question?
Correct, assume this needs to go to another channel though?
