i think pm_1Q5s3IDpf3Jj6XoNXVe0hqrG is the PaymentMethod that you're referring to? If that's the case, your own backend server is detaching the PaymentMethod from the customer : https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_RKRVNzAWGI9Fxh. You'll want to walk through your own logic to find out why

Yes, that was on purpose. This customer was having issues paying because of the "inactive" accounts so she removed her payment method and tried to add it again. She's done that several times, but when she adds it again, it attaches the old financial connections account even though I'm not sending that in the request. I'd like to have her get a new financial connections account if her old one is "inactive" or if there's a way to "activate" her old one, that would be even better

there isn't any way to activate the old one again i believe, you should really just create a new PaymentMethod for her again via the same way the first one was created

That's what I've tried, but when she creates a new payment method, it uses the same inactive financial connections account. I can find an example of this if it'll help.

Hmm... I can't find an example right now. With this customer I just see her trying to create a payment intent but not being able to complete it: evt_3QGIbGDpf3Jj6XoN4xDAkiHW
She would say it just hangs when trying to contact the bank. This might be a different issue but I can try to get through this and see if we can get her to add the payment method again. You're pretty confident that a new payment method should give me a new financial connection account?

creating a new payment method should create a new financial connection account object, but if it doesn't you can share the financial connection account id and we can take a closer look at that point
