๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹

Do you have the Setup Intent ID that corresponds to this session?

viscid pebble
#

yes, let me check

evt_1QG9WiHay2F9AX5V7vx9CKb7

final kraken

This is a webhook event for a checkout.session.expired event type. Is this how the customer was attempting to set up a bank account?

viscid pebble
#

you probably meant seti_1QG9UoHay2F9AX5VQ3uMOI3S

final kraken
#

That is a setup intent ID, true

Looking

final kraken
#

Okay I have looked myself and reached out to my colleagues but unfortunately we aren't able to see any clear indication of why this setup attempt failed. I will be filing a request for more information internally but I don't expect to hear back right away.

I recommend you write in to our Support team here: https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
and mention you were talking with me on Discord and you want to be kept informed of any developments. They will be able to find the ticket I file and keep you posted.

Wait a sec, I think I've found some logs related to this

#

Huh.... from the logs I'm seeing we are showing that we provide that the customer was selecting multiple accounts at once and they needed to select a single account.

viscid pebble
#

is this expected?

final kraken
#

Yes, you can only link a single account at a time

viscid pebble
#

so one of the two accounts wasn't eligible? hence the error?

final kraken
#

Not quite, the error on our side reads (in part) like this: configured to only accepting single account, the next step is to get the selected single account

viscid pebble
#

anything we can do on our side?

final kraken
#

Unfortunately I think you'll have to tell your customers to select a single account when paying with a us_bank_account

#

Because the connection wasn't made, we don't have more insight than that

viscid pebble
#

will forward the recommendation

#

thanks again
