also you can just create the account, look at the requirements and then iterate and add information to your request to supply what it's telling you is needed.
overall unless you are larege company with a large team woking on KYC and compliance I would suggest not doing this, and instead use our hosted onboarding instead of collecting the info yourself and supplying it in the API: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/custom/onboarding#stripe-hosted-onboarding

no, you need to use Connect for use cases of sending money to people
