I mean I want my customers to be able to update their payment method of active subscriptions.
And I don't also want to manually go to every subscription or customer and then click on email or copy and manually share the payment method update link to the customers.

I don't know about this Dashboard functionality. But you can allow customers to manage their Subscriptions using Customer Portal: https://docs.stripe.com/customer-management/integrate-customer-portal

You are right, customer portal can be a good option but I saw a update quantity button on the demo. Is that button always there or can I customise the options there?
I don't want them update the quantity from there. It has to be managed from the application itself for me...

No, you can customize what's shown on the portal when you create the Configuration: https://docs.stripe.com/customer-management/integrate-customer-portal#configure
You should only enable payment_method_update: https://docs.stripe.com/api/customer_portal/configurations/object#portal_configuration_object-features-payment_method_update
