(unless the customer actively clicks the Link button on the ExpressCheckoutElement I like to submit using the payment info from the PaymentElement)
Thank you!
Like a minimal code example?
No, an exact ConfirmationToken id that I can look at
Yes, ctoken_1QFIxbGgJgpo8mZyYvRinSQC
Hello! I'm taking over and catching up...
Okay, when you press your submit button, do you see a Link dialog pop up or anything like that?
And can you confirm you're using a single instance of elements for both the Express Checkout Element and the Payment Element?
When I press my submit button, there is no Link dialog pop up. I have previously submitted with link so I assume there's some kind of session in my browser
I am using a single instance of elements, yes
The Link button shows the last four of your card, so you do seem to already be logged in and using Link.
If you press the Link button, then log out of Link, does it work as expected after that?
Yes. In this case I get a confirmationToken of type card, with the number I typed into the PaymentElement. ctoken_1QFJFiGgJgpo8mZy0vVSt4Fb
After logging out of Link that is
Okay, that seems to make sense.
