Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm not sure that is adjustable, or the screenshots there show the current verbiage.

Which of our SDKs are you using for your mobile flow, and what version(s)?

hi Toby, I'm using StripePaymentSheet ver. 23.31.0

jagged vine

stripe-ios ver 23.31.0?

glossy coral
#

yes

Gotcha, thank you for that clarification.

Checking with my teammates on this

@glossy coral that's not something you can control. I think this screenshot is just outdated and the second sentence you shared is the one we use in the SDK

glossy coral
#

ok that's really unfortunate, thank you for checking

#

is there a reason stripe changed the language?

#

it's misleading to our users to say we are storing the payment info and not stripe

#

or is there a way to petition to revert it to the original language?

covert totem
#

You can't revert. And I don't really get what part is confusing, both sentences said it was stored for your payments

glossy coral
#

they mean different things. "Save payment method for future [eg. CVS] payments" means it's stored somewhere, but not necessarily at CVS. "Save payment details to CVS for future payments" however does mean CVS will store payment details. and it doesn't say what details. so the user can infer the entire credit card is stored with CVS when that is not the case

I don't disagree, but I don't think that's what most people will think honestly. At least you're the first person I see mention this.
Unfortunately this is not something you have any control over

ok thank you for checking
