Does it happen consistently for all attempts for you? Do you have a physical reader to try?

it is happening consistently, and I do not have a physical reader
we have automated tests using a simulated terminal that were working fine last week, and the tests have started failing today
I've asked for someone with a physical reader to try and see if that makes a difference

we're getting some unusual behavior from the reader, lots of Stripe test cards are being declined because Stripe claims they are now live cards. the one request we got to go through seems to have had the generated_card populated as expected, but possibly with the wrong card number
