It would be status: 'trialing'

And with regards t oconnected accounts, e.g. accounts we are managing via stripe connect; is it possible to define a connected customers default payment method (for subscriptions / recurring payments) ?
I could not see an option for this under the payment method api

ahh default_source, thats why I didn't see it
