@cunning yew at the end the Subscription is "released" and continues its normal cycle based on the last phase of the SubscriptionSchedule.
You can use https://docs.stripe.com/billing/testing/test-clocks to simulate this in Test mode and jump through time
So you mean that the futur payments of that subscription will be collected (provided that the last phase has left the subscription in an active state)?

Can I attach a new subscription_schedule to such a subscription (having a released subscription_schedule)?
you can use from_subscription when you create a new SubscriptionSchedule for example
Yes I've verified that I can attach a subscription_schedule to a subscription that never had one before. My question is: can I attach another subscription_schedule to that subscription provided that its old subscription_schedule was released?
