if a customer downgrades plan, a subscription schedule is add for current subscription with phases that defines the downgrade. now , how can i know is a particular subscription is scheduled for downgrade in next billing cycle ?

You'd check the associated schedule via the schedule field

which is the ideal way to stick with current plan and cancel the upcoming downgrade plan in the next billing cycle.

1. Update the phases of the subscriptionSchedule.
2. Release the Subscription from the Schedule.

If you don't require the schedule for any other updates, then I'd recommend just releasing control and letting the subscription cycle naturally
