I think the first thing is to get more details about the timeout error, and determine if it's related to Stripe.

its a simple timeout issue while connecting to your API. we give 45 seconds as timeout

Then you should troubleshoot your network, 45 seconds is a long time.
Increasing a timeout won't solve the problem if your server has connectivity issue to reach to Stripe API endpoint.
