You need to pass individual or bussiness depending on your Customer actually, it's their choice and not yours:
https://docs.stripe.com/payments/acss-debit/accept-a-payment#:~:text=The type of the mandate you are creating%2C either personal (if your customer is an individual) or business (if your customer is a business).
