i mean, that maybe i can take the payment method and attach it to the customer in order to reuse it off session

maybe some parameter allows me to 'reuse' the card the setup future usage ? it's strange that i'm not able to collect payment method when possible

If the payment method is used before being attached it's consumed

So you wouldn't be able to re-use it

Yeah you'd have to only enable cards as a payment method

Or other payment methods that support setup_future_usage
