Hi ๐
So when you use a Stripe Embedded Component for account onboarding, you do not see the autocomplete function for the address input that you see for the Stripe hosted onboarding?
From what I can see this isn't a customizable option so I don't think you are overlooking anything. It may be a limitation of the embedded components but we don't call it out anywhere.
okay that's what i thought too, thanks for the answer! I have a second (and last) question. In our dev and testing process, we often reinit our local database (as everywhere i guess), and testing going threw all the onboarding every time is time consuming. Is there a way to have a created and prefilled account with just one api call or something like this? I would be surprised but still asking
You can prefill most information in the Create API call. You can see all the available parameters for the API here
yea but i would still have to finish creating in the end no?
By "finish creating" do you mean complete the onboarding process?
yep
Yes you will need to perform this action. It's a required KYC flow and we find it helps more than it hurts to have similar restrictions in Test mode
yea i totally understand, thank you!
I wanted to let you know I am raising the feature request for address autocomplete with our engineering teams. I don't know if/when we will be able to implement it but at least we will track your interest in the feature.
okay, thank you very much! ๐ have a nice evening!
You too ๐
