This is the other situation where I am not even getting an error
So I can't even look at the log as I don't see that on the dashboard
Can you copy/paste the cs_live ID from your address bar?
Yes
I don't see a cs_live ID
session_id: cs_live_b1ZTdJmnWIGPRqtDRGcv5AehKzyDBVMLXPF9hV9zDAakeE83pNcFPx6f4F
The only thing I can see is this
Is this what you meant? The session Id?
Thanks
Was the screenshot above recent? The reason I ask is because this Checkout Session has been manually expired: https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_9EUtnTiOhlMbxi
Yes.. Our checkout session expiry is 3min
But this happens within that 3 min
I can create a new one but that should not have anything to do with this
Also, in terms of the API version we set the API version in code as 2023-10-16
So I am confused why this is 2020 : https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_sIxVxLueC7EqvG
I'm trying to find the Checkout Session that ties to the PaymentMethod creation failure. Do you happen to have it handy?
This session will be expired too
Deleted the message since it's a live link but I found the Session ID
Thanks
So I see this session is for a total of $28.00. What coupon are you using to try to get this down to $0?
I also see the Session was created with API version 2023-10-16
Yes it is coupon: vivisupercode
Yeah that is why I am confused why does that call have the wrong API version
That's the Promo Code, right? Do you have the coupon ID?
Hello, I will be taking a look at this as well. I am working with @open wind .
Sorry for the delay, I was trying to test this out on my end but I can't reproduce the issue
You mentioned this used to work. Do you have an example from when this worked? Additionally, are you able to reproduce this in test mode?
Ah, I was just able to reproduce
So, from what I can see at the moment, this isn't due to the coupon or the way these Checkout Sessions are being created
Okay if not that, then where do you think could be the issue is coming from?
What is the issue then and what can we do to fix this @simple oracle ? Is it something you need to update on your side?
The way I was able to reproduce was if the customer email I provided in the Checkout Session has a Link account
Oh okay, would it not be the same if the customer does not have a link account?
That's what my testing currently supports. If a customer either doesn't have a Link account or if they don't log into Link, they should be able to complete the Checkout flow
Let me try that. It doesn't let us proceed if we don't enter an email
I guess why would that be a problem if they are using an email that is associated to a Link account? Can it not pull down the cc / payment method associated with that account?
That's something we're still investigating on our end.
I tested earlier without a coupon code using a link account and it did work.
Can you share the example? Ideally, the Checkout Session ID would help
In terms of next steps, it would be best to open a support case: https://support.stripe.com/contact/
In your message, you can flag that you were chatting with developer support in Discord and share a link to this thread: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1295490190957350924
Let me know when you've opened the support case
The scenario you mentioned is not working either

Hold on, taking a step back
Any testing should be done in test mode, not live mode
This is not testing. I am trying to create a real order as I need to create this order to process it through our system
That is why this was a live one because my understanding was if it is not linked to a link account I could move forward
But I still can't
I need a way to unblock our operations
Just to be clear, you're saying dev@... does not have a Link account? Can you try to access the Checkout Sessions in private/incognito mode?
Stuck on the 0 now
In incognito, it doesn't even give an error. Just stuck on that page with no response

Hello! I'm taking over and catching up...
Caught up, and no updates quite yet. It does seem very similar to an issue we're actively working on now, and I'm waiting for confirmation that it is indeed the same issue.
Ok, sounds good. Thanks, will wait for your update
It may take some time to get confirmation or further details. Did you create a support case as requested above?
Sorry when was it raised to create a support case?
I probably missed that. Unless @paper parrot you already did that?
Up here: #1295490190957350924 message
Trying to create one but I keep getting redirected to articles
Not letting me create a ticket
Ah, unfortunately the direct link to the contact form we used to provide no longer works, and I'm not sure how to guide you to it given the changes they've made.
Ok I had an option to submit a form
I just did that and got this email
This was the only option
Okay, let me look for and see if I can grab that...
Thanks
Yep, I got it.
This is a public server, so you might want to remove your email address.
Thanks
Okay, you should have a reply from me and I'll follow up via email as soon as I have more information.
