Hi @kind belfry you can use manual capture for terminal payments (https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/payments/collect-card-payment?terminal-sdk-platform=server-driven#capture-payment) Can you tell me what made you think otherwise?
https://docs.stripe.com/payments/eftpos-australia I also found "Manual capture support: yes" on this page
Hi, @icy charm thank you for helping. Initially we thought the same it should work with manual capture, but our customer told us that the cards always got declined, and then we started to dig the docs, and we see this. It said eftpos card payments will always decline.
The manual part currently is an important step for us to calculate the fee (base on the card country, brand, etc), is there any workaround for EFT POST, or calculate the fee?
Can you share with me the link of the doc?
Thanks, looks like there's a mistake in the doc that I shared earlier. I'll ask the docs team to correct it.
I'm afraid that eftpos doesn't support manual capture,
I see. Any workaround or any other practices that suits our use case to calculate the fees?
