hello! They should be immediately marked as void based off https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/pause-payment#collect-payment-never
Hi! I was having a play with a test clock and it took ~3 days to be marked as void.
I found that if I unpaused the subscription close enough to invoice generation date that it was charged.
can you share the subscription id? I'll try taking a look
hrm, i was trying this out on my own account, it doesn't take 3 days. Having said that, i advanced the test clock a little bit past the renewal date, then advanced it by another hour again and it was voided
i think maybe there's some test clock quirk here. Can you try again by advancing the test clock bit by bit?
Sure.
Something came up on the invoice to say that it would be finalised and charged an hour after it was generated.
yep, maybe advance to after that timing listed on that invoice now
I advanced the test clock to 1 hour and 1 minute after invoice generation (1 minute after finalisation) and the invoice was voided.
sounds good, so it looks like the voiding happens during invoice finalizing which is usually ~1 hour after the invoice is created
Okay. Not a problem. Thank you for your time. I don't have any other questions at this stage.
Please feel free to close the thread. I am unsure about convention.
