hello
Hello! I'm sorry but I don't really understand your question and what you mean. There's nothing to be afraid of instead of "losing something else".
But I don't get what you are asking really sorry
hmm, in other way. what would you use to receive monthly fee from connected accounts?
Ah gotcha, we don't really support anything like this. So you have 2 approaches
- Make money as they make money by taking a percentage of their revenue
- Collect their payment method details to charge them a monthly fee for example with our billing products that you found
there isn't a way to just "charge their Stripe account automatically" which is likely what you were thinking of
ok, thank you, that is helpfull ๐
Sure thing! let me know if you have a follow up question
I understand option 1, by option 2 you mean that use charge at the end on month ?
yes or upfront depending on your business model
ok, but what about law, onboarding user should set something params by api that he agree for fees ?
I can't speak about law. That's up to you to figure out maybe with your company or lawyer. But it's just normal for any business to take a fee for their service. Look at what every other business does

ok ok, i understand that application must handle with it
one more question. how would you handle if you want to set minimum account balance from where users can transfer their money into their account after onboarding ? You know when they did engough payments on stripe connect and now want to take the money
We don't have a concept of minimum balance. But what you can do is use a manual Payout schedule so that their balance accumulates in their Stripe account and then you control when they can get their funds by creating a Payout in the API
So at that point you can check their balance and then let them collect only a portion of it.
i see, that have sense
see https://stripe.com/docs/connect/manage-payout-schedule for more details
thank you and have a good night! (In Poland night currently)
