When I run both server and UI locally and use stripe --listen to deliver all events to the locally running server -- I see the event and everything works as expected

but the deployed version, configured to handle webhooks handles all other events but not account.updated

Hello! Your Webhook Endpoint is a regular one, meaning it's only going to receive Events from your own account, not your connected accounts. In order to receive Events from connected accounts you need to set up a Connect Webhook Endpoint: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/webhooks

#

The account.updated Events are happening on your connected accounts, whereas the other Events are happening on your own account, which is why you're getting some but not all. You would receive account.updated Events using your existing Webhook Endpoint as long as the account being updated was your own.

#

why do I see those events when I run the server locally and use stripe --listen to redirect all events?

cold spindle
#

Because stripe CLI merges those

supple kite
#

I meant I can see account.updated on the platform account

cold spindle
#

it's to try and be helpful but it can be confusing

supple kite
#

indeed

#

thanks for your help, I guess I can dig a little further now

#

last question

#

how can I see those events in Stripe dashboard?

#

I mean those related to my connected accounts

cold spindle
#

You have to look at that individual connected account to see those Events.

#

Or add a Connect WebhookEndpoint and they will appear on that endpoint's page in the Dashboard

got it

thanks again for helping out
