i am using the api endpoints for this

so my question is is there a way to get a column for payment status, or is this API only returning successful payments?
to me it seems like it's excluding the failed payments
as well as the pending one

yes, you are using the API but you're asking about the report/ file returned after the call.
That piece is something we do not have expertise in as we do not work with reporting
